Members of OutServe, a network of out members of the military, discuss the challenges LGBT military personnel continue to face even after the DADT repeal, including the ban on transgender service, partner and family benefits, and HIV status.

Jonathan Mills is an active-duty Airman and the the executive editor of OutServe Magazine, a nationally-recognized LGBT publication distributed to military bases across the U.S. 

 



Sergeant First Class Ron Nalley (Panelist)

Army Chemical Corps

Ron Nalley serves in the Army as Noncommissioned Officer in the Chemical Corps. He is a member of the OutServe Actively Serving Leadership group and the moderator for the OutServe HIV Working Group.



Paula Neira (Panelist)
Co-chair
SLDN Military Advisory Council.

Paula M. Neira graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy and served as an officer in the Navy. She is a former SLDN staff attorney and serves as co-chair of SLDN's Military Advisory Council.

 



Lieutenant Josh Seefried (Panelist)

Josh Seefried is a co-founder and co-director of OutServe. He graduated from the Air Force Academy and serves as an officer. Seefried is the author of Our Time: Breaking the Silence of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.”
