Rev. Irene Monroe (Moderator)
Author and Theologian
 

Rev. Irene Monroe is a doctoral candidate at Harvard Divinity School. She has written columns for In News Weekly and The Advocate. Her goal is "to highlight how religious intolerance and fundamentalism not only shatters the goal of American democracy, but also aids in perpetuating other forms of oppression such as racism, sexism, classism and anti-Semitism."

 
Michael Adee
Field Organizer, More Light Presbyterians
 

Dr. Michael J. Adee is an openly gay Elder within the Presbyterian Church and has been working in the LGBT & HIV/AIDS community since 1988. He has also served as a college professor, hospital and hospice chaplain, bereavement counselor, campus minister, diversity consultant, tennis coach and a teacher/relief worker.

 
Rabbi Denise Eger
Congregation Kol Ami
 

Rabbi Denise Eger is a leader in West Hollywood's Kol Ami Reform Synagogue. She is a member of the Central Conference of American Rabbis and has served on numerous Rabbinic boards and organizations. Rabbi Eger has published extensively on human sexuality, interfaith dialogue and human rights and has appeared on television and radio as an expert in these areas.

 
The Rev. Mike Schuenemeyer
Wider Church Ministries, UCC
 

The Rev. Michael "Mike" Schuenemeyer has served on the national staff of the United Church of Christ in Cleveland, OH since 2002. He serves as Executive for Health and Wholeness Advocacy in Wider Church Ministries, working on lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender concerns, HIV/AIDS and global health.

 
Dr. Leonard Swidler
Professor of Religion, Temple University
 

Dr. Leonard Swidler is Co-Founder of the Journal of Ecumenical Studies (and still the Editor), Founder/Director of the Institute for Interreligious, Intercultural Dialogue, and Co-Founder/Director of the Global Dialogue Institute. He holds degrees in history, philosophy, and theology, and has published more than 60 books and 180 articles.
